  • Venue: Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia

A Premier Aerospace and Maritime Platform in Asia-Pacific

The Business and General Aviation Association of Malaysia, BAGAM, participated in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025, LIMA 2025, one of the largest and most established maritime and aerospace exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. Held biennially, LIMA serves as a key platform connecting defence, commercial, and industrial stakeholders across the global aviation and maritime sectors.

The 17th edition of LIMA featured a comprehensive showcase of both aerospace and maritime capabilities, including indoor exhibitions, static aircraft displays, aerial demonstrations, and high-level conferences. The event continues to play a strategic role in facilitating international partnerships, technology exchange, and industry development.

Driving Industry Networking and Strategic Engagement

BAGAM’s participation at LIMA 2025 was centred on strengthening industry engagement and fostering connections with key stakeholders, including government representatives, aviation professionals, and international exhibitors. As a major networking platform, LIMA provided BAGAM with the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on industry trends, regulatory developments, and potential collaborations. The event also enabled BAGAM to reinforce its role as a representative body for Malaysia’s business and general aviation sector within a global context.

BAGAM Pavilion Showcasing Industry Collaboration

A key highlight of BAGAM’s presence at LIMA 2025 was the establishment of the BAGAM Pavilion, which brought together several member companies and industry partners under a unified platform. Participating organisations within the BAGAM Pavilion included:

  • Asia Aerotechnic (AAT)

  • BoardingGate.asia

  • EMARCO Enterprise Pte Ltd

  • Global SAR Resources Sdn Bhd

  • Golden Flying Dragons Business Consultancy Sdn Bhd

  • One Asia Sdn Bhd

  • Triangle Worldwide Sdn Bhd

The pavilion served as a central hub for engagement, allowing participating companies to showcase their capabilities, exchange insights, and explore business opportunities with both local and international stakeholders.

Showcasing Malaysia’s Aviation Ecosystem

LIMA 2025 highlighted the breadth of Malaysia’s aviation ecosystem, spanning defence and commercial aviation, maintenance and engineering services, as well as emerging aerospace technologies. With a strong mix of global exhibitors and regional players, the event reinforced Malaysia’s position as a key hub within the Asia-Pacific aerospace landscape.

For BAGAM and its members, participation in such a high-profile platform provided increased visibility and access to a wider network of industry players, contributing to both business development and industry positioning.

Engaging Across Multiple Industry Segments

The event’s programme featured a wide range of activities, including conferences, forums, and live demonstrations, addressing key themes such as innovation, digitalisation, and future readiness of the aerospace and maritime industries. These engagements created valuable opportunities for BAGAM to exchange knowledge, stay aligned with global trends, and explore new avenues for collaboration across different segments of the aviation value chain.

As one of the region’s most prominent aerospace exhibitions, LIMA continues to contribute significantly to Malaysia’s aviation ambitions. The event not only attracts global participation but also facilitates investment opportunities and strengthens the country’s role in the regional aerospace supply chain.

BAGAM’s active involvement reflects its commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance industry connectivity, promote collaboration, and drive sustainable growth within Malaysia’s business aviation sector.

Advancing Industry Collaboration Through Global Platforms

The successful participation at LIMA 2025 underscores the importance of global platforms in advancing industry collaboration. By bringing together stakeholders from across the aviation and maritime sectors, the event creates an environment conducive to innovation, partnership, and long-term development.

For BAGAM, LIMA remains a key event in the industry calendar, offering not only visibility but also meaningful engagement opportunities that contribute to the continued growth of Malaysia’s aviation ecosystem.
