The Business and General Aviation Association of Malaysia, BAGAM, successfully hosted its 3rd Networking Night, bringing together 135 aviation professionals, industry leaders, and government representatives in a vibrant and engaging evening.
Held at Secret of Louisiana at The Lake, Plaza Kelana Jaya, the event continues to build on BAGAM’s mission of fostering collaboration, strengthening relationships, and advancing the future of Malaysia’s business and general aviation sector. The strong turnout reflects the increasing relevance of BAGAM as a unifying platform for the industry.
Strengthening Industry and Government Engagement
The evening was honoured by the presence of YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor State EXCO for Investment, Trade and Mobility, and Jamie Ramlee, Senior Director of the Investment Promotion Division at Invest Selangor Berhad, as VIP guests. Their presence underscored the importance of strong public-private collaboration in advancing Malaysia’s aviation sector, while adding distinction to the evening and reflecting continued support from key government and industry leaders.
President’s Address: “A Unified Vision for the Industry”
A key highlight of the evening was the address delivered by BAGAM President Peter Tan, who outlined the association’s strategic direction and aspirations for the year ahead. In his speech, he emphasised BAGAM’s commitment to its guiding vision, “One Voice for Business and General Aviation in Malaysia, and Beyond the Runway, Navigating the Future”, reflecting BAGAM’s shared commitment to elevating Malaysia’s aviation sector.
He further highlighted BAGAM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships, particularly with Invest Selangor Berhad and Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office, as well as its continued engagement with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) to address industry challenges.
